Marie Andersen is a passionate actress and storyteller originally from Laramie, Wyoming. She holds a BFA in Drama with a minor in Producing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Now based in New York City, Marie has appeared in numerous short films and stage productions during her time at NYU.

 

Recent credits include the short film In Quiet Company (dir. Leilah Azizi), the play Whistle Junkies by Cooper Muster, and a featured role in the music video Chill Bae by Lil Uzi Vert. Most recently, she produced Read My Lips at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

 

Marie is drawn to gritty, emotionally honest storytelling. Her top four films on Letterboxd are Interstellar, Manchester by the Sea, Phantom Thread, and The Worst Person in the World.
